How would you describe your photography style?
Our style blends candid, storytelling moments with carefully crafted, artistic compositions. We focus on capturing authentic emotions and natural beauty, while making sure the imagery reflects your personality and your vision. Timeless, vibrant and deeply personal.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as you can, especially for weddings — dates fill up quickly, and at least a month ahead gives us room to plan properly. For portrait or corporate sessions, one to three weeks' notice is usually enough, and we are happy to take last-minute requests when the schedule allows. A deposit of 30–50% reserves your date.
How long does it take to receive my photos?
It depends on the session or event. You can usually expect a sneak peek within two days, and the full gallery within four to eight weeks depending on the scope of the work. We will give you a clear timeline during our consultation.
Can I customise my package?
Yes. Every client is different, so our packages are customisable — full-day wedding coverage, a shorter session, a corporate branding shoot. We will work with you to build something that fits both your vision and your budget.
Do you travel outside Dar es Salaam?
Yes. We are based in Dar es Salaam but we travel across Tanzania and beyond for the right occasion. Tell us where you are and we will work travel into your package when we talk.
Is it just one photographer, or a team?
It depends on the work. GUXSTUDIO is a crew rather than one person — you can meet us on the About page — and we size the team to the occasion. A wedding is covered differently from a studio portrait session, and we will tell you exactly who is coming before the day.
What should I expect during a session?
A relaxed, collaborative experience. Beforehand we will talk through your vision, your preferences and any specific details, so that everything lines up with what you are expecting. On the day we will guide you through poses if you want that, while keeping things natural and enjoyable.
How do I prepare for my session?
We will send you a detailed guide beforehand, tailored to the kind of shoot. In general: wear outfits that reflect your style, bring any props that mean something to you, and above all be yourself. We will handle the rest.
Do you offer prints or albums?
Yes. We offer high-quality prints, albums and other products to bring your photographs off the screen. During our consultation we can go through the options that suit your style and budget, from framed prints to custom-designed heirloom albums.
