A visual creative studio specialising in photography, aiming to set the standard for freezing incredible memories.
We photograph weddings, portraits, events and the working life of organisations across Dar es Salaam — from a couple's first look to a conference hall of three hundred people.

Gulamali Stanley
Founder and photographer
Gulamali is a dentist by profession. He picked up a camera while he was still at university and started GUXSTUDIO in 2018, and the two have run alongside each other ever since.
Dental school trains you to notice what other people miss — the millimetre that makes a smile sit right, the symmetry nobody consciously registers but everybody feels. That habit of looking closely never switched off. It is the same attention he brings to a frame.
What keeps him behind the camera is simpler than any of that. He wants to make something worth remembering, and to make people smile while he does it.

The mark
Our logo is built from two shapes. The circle stands for the moments in our lives that come around daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. The rectangle stands for the capture — holding on to the ones whose memories matter.
The red is for attractiveness and life. The teal is for openness and uniqueness. Together they are how you recognise our work.
